What about Mentoring/Coaching, Mediation or Clinical Supervision?
Mentoring/Coaching aims to help an individual to find and fulfil their potential, enhancing personal and professional well-being and performance or simply working towards becoming happier! It is again founded on a respectful, honest and empathic relationship with a coach/mentor. Mediation is an informal, voluntary dispute settlement process run by a trained Mediator intended to clear up misunderstandings, explain concerns and reach an agreement as to a way forward. Clinical Supervision is most often used by those within medical professions and particularly practising Counsellors and Psychotherapists to allow for personal reflection, offloading and the sharing of professional ideas and techniques to enhance effectiveness. It can also be used in the same way by those in other helping professions, particularly in emotionally demanding and high-pressure work environments to ensure good practice and avoid burnout.
When are appointments available?
We offer appointments on weekdays, evenings and weekends, if required. Each Counselling/Psychotherapy and Mentoring/Coaching appointment lasts an hour, Clinical Supervision can be up to an hour and a half.
How long will I need to wait for a Counselling appointment?
We aim for the client to be contacted by a counsellor with a first appointment date within 24 hours of the initial referral. The first appointment will be offered within 7 days whenever possible.
Which service is right for me?
We offer Counselling and Psychotherapy, Clinical Supervision, Employee Assistance Programmes, Mediation, Mentoring and Coaching, Critical Incident Services, Training and Interpersonal Communications Consultancy. Due to the extensive skill set and experience we have within the company, we are also able to offer organisations a set of varying interventions pertinent to circumstances, budget and team requirements, and, within an organisational context, contribute towards improving staff absence rates, morale and work-life balance.
What can I expect from counselling/psychotherapy?
All of our counsellors use a person-centred core model. This means they work in a way that values the clients own ideas and beliefs, within a counselling relationship founded upon empathy, honesty and respect. The aim is to empower the client to recognise and overcome the difficulties in his or her own life whist being supported and facilitated by a qualified, experienced and professional practitioner. All of our affiliates have experience of working with a variety of models including Gestalt, CBT and Solution-focused therapy
