There are many reasons why people choose to come for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

A person may be seeking resolution, exploration and/or understanding of an issue from their past or present.  Counselling offers the chance to talk and be listened to in a respectful, non-judgemental way, safe in the knowledge that what is said is kept strictly confidential.

Presenting Issues may include bereavement and loss, relationship difficulties, stress, depression, anxiety, redundancy, workplace issues, emotional, physical or sexual abuse - now, or in the past - trauma, post traumatic stress disorder, fertility issues, addiction, alcohol or substance misuse, eating disorders, illness... or simply a desire to improve quality of life and break free from old patterns of behaviour.
